by Angela Fernando (Global Cassava Partnership for the 21st Century) The Global Cassava Partnership for the 21st Century – GCP21 is creating a formal database on the GCP21 website called Membership Database with the concept to create a one stop-portal for all information on cassava with a few very unique tools that are not available today anywhere, such as Cassava Projects.
We are very much interested to deliver cassava project information to all our GCP21 members.
We hope you have already been registered as a member, if not we kindly request you to register and then associate your cassava project or projects and organization.
GCP21 have already entered a number organizations and cassava projects in the database and are accessible through a drop-down menu. If not listed, you have the capacity to add a new project, with the necessary fields such as Project Name, Description, Starting and Ending Dates, other Participants, Donor, countries and so on., which will not take more than 10 minutes.
Alternatively, any Member will have the ability to search other Members projects, they will have the capacity to locate where the project is acting, to list all members in this project as well as map and download the information Eventually, this will be a wonderful tool for everybody to identify and locate cassava scientists, cassava organizations with a number of cassava projects.
The bottom line is that our database system will only work if YOU contribute with YOUR Answers. We believe help spreading cassava information will definitely generate several positive interactions in the cassava society. READ MORE / MORE
